My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a handsome boy Saxton is! He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 6/21. Saxton is 2 years old and has a smile that will melt your heart. He is a very sweet boy that knows to sit when asked. It is reported by shelter staff that he is house trained. Saxton 's coat is beautiful, shiny and healthy. He is looking for love and a new place to lay his head. Wouldn't you like to meet Saxton in person? Is there love in your heart for this happy fellow? Ask for ID# 637450 Run 201. He will be neutered soon, micro-chipped and heart worm tested upon adoption.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
