My story

Journey is a 2 year beagle/lab mix. She is about 35/40 pounds and has a beautiful coat that is brown when the sun hits it and has a pretty light colored undercoat. She is very friendly and got along well with kids and cats when tested. She is a little hog of attention but does get along well with other dogs and of course, people. She is house and crate trained. She doesn’t seem to have a howl but does have a big/loud bark when she does. She is outgoing and fun. This dog is altered and up to date on shots. If you would like to meet this dog, please call or text Lorri, at 630-659-8814. Text is the preferred method of contact. The adoption fee is $225.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive
- deworming

Why adoption is a great option

Journey, a Aurora Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
