Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***THIS DOG NEEDS A FOSTER HOME
Please help share. I originally marketed Miss Piggy for a foster home to try and get her out of the shelter in May 2021, at which time she had already been a long-term resident. I wasn't successful.
I just saw that she is STILL THERE. So I'm going to try again.
Here is the description I received of her:
She makes the cutest noises! She was a stray, small pit mix found by Monte Vista animal control just roaming and injured. Due to her condition and behavior we think she was involved in dog fights somehow. When walking into or out of any doorway she does a low stalking walk. At the fence with a set of puppies she all loose and wiggles trying to play. She does well with dogs her size (45#) or smaller as long as properly introduced. Her behavior with people, including kids, is absolutely the best! Loves everybody she's introduced to and immediately a lap dog. We believe she's approximately 2 years old and she's already been spayed, and is up to date on Parvo/Distemper and dewormer.
Apply to foster at fromforgottentoforever.com/fosterapplication/. All expenses paid and first choice for adoption. She is currently at Conour Animal Shelter in Monte Vista. I'll transport her anywhere I can get to and from in a day.
