My story

Say hello to Summer...she is a stray that is now in need of a new home. She is a big happy girl who loves treats. She isn't the best on a leash because she will pull towards other dogs. She loves head scratches and attention in general. Please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter to meet her. Our new hours are Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. We are closed from 11:30am-12:30pm for lunch. Then we open promptly at 12:30 pm and continue operating until 3 pm. We will be open on Saturday July 9th and July 16th from 9 am to 1pm. Please come visit and bring home a new companion! We are located at 25555 Northline Rd. We will also have extended hours July 11-15 to 7 pm.

Why adoption is a great option

Summer, a Taylor Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Taylor, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Taylor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taylor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taylor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taylor paves the way for another one to be saved.
