Meet Gypsy...she is a one year old tuxedo kitty in need of a new home. She had a litter of kittens and then we had her spayed. She is up to date on rabies and distemper. She is a calm kitty who enjoys being petted. Please come meet her at the Taylor Animal Shelter. Our new hours are Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. We are closed from 11:30am-12:30pm for lunch. Then we open promptly at 12:30 pm and continue operating until 3 pm. We are also open the first Saturday of every month. Please come visit and bring home a new companion! We are located at 25555 Northline Rd.

Gypsy, a Taylor Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Taylor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Taylor.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taylor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taylor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taylor paves the way for another one to be saved.
