Hi everyone, my name is Corky and I am a little Yorkie mix, so technically I am Corky the Yorkie, LOL! I am about 2 years old and I weigh 12 lbs. I was lost and running around a neighborhood near a busy highway in Texas for about 3 weeks. I had no collar, no tag, no microchip and despite having a nice haircut nobody claimed me. No worries because 4 little Paws Rescue happily took me in and now I am living safe and secure at a doggy daycare where I get my own kennel space, lots of attention, and playtime twice a day. I am a very happy and friendly little boy, full of energy and spirit! I love to play with the other dogs and I love to run around the play yard. I am learning to play fetch, but I haven't quite mastered the “bring it back” part. I am affectionate, potty trained and I can walk on a leash, but don't mistake me for a lapdog… I have things to do and places to go! I will be saying goodbye Texas and Hello Connecticut next week when I move. I am looking for a wonderful forever home where I can be active and play and go for walks and all that fun stuff for a friendly little dog like me!
