My story

***NEEDS FOSTER ASAP***

Meet BUNDY!

He is a 7-month-old sweet, calm puppy who was given up by his previous owners because they were unable to keep him from chasing chickens. His current foster home shared that BUNDY is good with inside cats, but does need redirections outside not to chase. Another foster home learned that he is not a good fit in a home with cats.

BUNDY wants to play, but the resident dogs are still getting to know him. As the videos show, he loves playing in water, but he also has discovered how to be lazy. He doesn't bark often. He is cool with other dogs and is good with kids as long as they are kind.

BUNDY knows some obedience hand signals, so he's good with sit, lay down, and will occasionally roll-over.

BUNDY will likely need work on house-training (piddles when he is excited), but is crate-trained. He was just neutered, so he may not show this behavior in a few weeks.

BUNDY has met horses and had no reaction other than fascination. He thinks that chickens look pretty tasty, but who doesn't!

If anyone is looking for snuggly, doofy/silly giant baby of a dog and doesn't have a lot of small animals, this would be a great match.

BUNDY is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped for his furever family.

Additional adoption info

We require a foster or adoption application to qualify to foster or adopt our animals. We do check your current veterinary reference and landlord approval if renting. The next step is a "meet and greet" with all family members and/or household occupants, and current pets. Upon approval, we offer a "trial adoption" period that allows adopter to make sure of a good fit for both the dog and family. Adoption is final when adoption contract (different from application) is filled out and signed, and adoption fee is paid. Our adoption fees range from $75 - $300 (puppies) currently, but are subject to revision if our veterinary costs rise.
