My story

Finn is a 12-week-old handsome tuxedo kitten that was lovingly rescued from a busy shopping mall parking lot where he was found in the bushes with a can of food. No matter that, he was sweet as a button, social, playful and as cute as could be from that very day!

Finn is a sharp, instinctual, curiously healthy little boy that LOVES snuggling in for naps multiple times a day! A perfect balance for someone active or a family that loves the engagement of a furry best friend! Before he gently matures into a big healthy lazy lap cat!! Maybe? 🤗

Finn was raised in a home with young children and both small and large dogs. A large canine could potentially be his BFF. He's received daily outdoor time on a harness and loves killing flies and lounging in the sun!

Neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and vetted.

He's ready for you! Are you ready for him?

Why adoption is a great option

Finn, a Downey Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Downey, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Downey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Downey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Downey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Downey paves the way for another one to be saved.
