My story

Adoption Fee Sponsored

Stella is a wonderful girl. She loves lots of attention and is very vocal. Stella loves toys of all types and to be the center of attention. She has been around children in her former home and does well with other cats as long as a proper introduction is done. Stella recently met the dog at her foster home and she liked him so much she started rubbing all over him. She would do fine in a home with a cat friendly dog. Stella would be ok as an only cat too. She is also very food motivated and loves treats. Stella doesn't mind being pick up either. If you're looking for a friendly and loving kitty Stella could be your girl. Stella is being fostered in Westminster, MD (Carroll Co).

Why adoption is a great option

Stella, a Sykesville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sykesville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sykesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sykesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sykesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sykesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
