My story

This sweet little boy Bruno is an adorable 8 lb. 12 week old little
Papillon / Spaniel cross? This sweet little boy is such a love bug! He
would love to spend his days giving kisses to his new family! This little
guy is so sweet and loves people he just wants to be held and loved on!
Bruno was found by a good Samaritan spray painted and scared. He has really
learned that life is good and he doesn't have worry. Bruno gets along great
with his foster brother and sisters and likes his foster moms kitty. This
little guy is a happy boy and loves play time, toys and most important
cuddle time. Bruno would do best in his new family with someone who works
from home or will be home all the time with him. But he is the perfect size
to go everywhere with his new family. Bruno is neutered, micro-chipped, and
up to date on his vaccinations. He will be a wonderful little companion.

We appreciate that you are interested in one or more of our dogs or cats for adoption. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner.

1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.

2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)

a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.

b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.

c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.

3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org

4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/

5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.

Why adoption is a great option

Bruno, a Lodi Papillon/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Lodi, or seeking a Papillon/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Papillon/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
