My story

Loris here! Looking for an affectionate kitty who adores being petted? Look no more because I’m your gal! And because I’m only about one year old, I love to play with toys! And as I’m sure you have noticed, I’m quite the looker with my beautiful green eyes and long whiskers. All I need now is my special human to take me home – are you my special human? If so, please come see me at the shelter Tuesday-Saturday, 12-4!

You can visit Loris at the Euclid Animal Shelter, 25100 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH. The cat and kitten adoption fee is $70 which includes the initial FVRCP shot, FeLeuk/FIV testing, worming, flea meds, and spay/neuter.

Why adoption is a great option

Loris, a Euclid Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Euclid, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Euclid.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Euclid already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Euclid breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Euclid paves the way for another one to be saved.
