Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Layla #9623 is a beautiful 3-year-old female Doberman Pinscher/Hound mix. Layla is a super sweet gal who is also polite and quiet. Layla does well meeting other dogs out on walks. She is house and crate trained and knows the commands sit and come. She knows the commands sit, wait, stay, down, come and drop it. She walks well but could use a little work on etiquette. Layla gets very excited when it’s time to go for walks. She has a moderate energy level. Typical of her breed she is protective of her people, she should be with an adopted with breed experience. While she likes children, due to her protective nature we do not recommend a home with young children. She currently weighs 70 pounds and should lose a few pounds to be her ideal weight. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks, so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups, should be on heartworm preventative; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are interested in adopting this dog, and are already approved to adopt through our organization, please contact dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with the pup’s name and ID number in the subject line. OTHERWISE, please submit an adoption application online: https://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoption-request-form/ E-mail dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions.
