My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ruth Langmore, a 7 year old female poodle that was rescued from a puppy mill after years that consisted of churning out puppies. She’s ready for her happy ending! Unlike her TV namesake, Ruth is super quiet and shy but coming out of her shell every day! She’s going to require a patient owner that will help her to gain trust and show her the good life she deserves.

The good news is, although it does take her time to warm up to people, the learning curve is shortening the more new people she meets! She loves to sit on the couch for hours and be petted or just snooze the day away. Her little personality is getting bigger the more she becomes comfortable. She’s a very smart and clever girl and was very quick to figure out how to get out of her play pen so she can be with her people. She still loves her crate and sleeps all night in it without a peep as long as she’s in the same room as her people. She’s quite a little character!

Since she’s not appeared to have been outdoors, she’s been using the puppy pee pads in her pen area which she keeps very clean. Being adopted into a home with another dog to show her the ropes would certainly expedite her social development and house training. She is in a foster home with 2 dogs and likes their company. Since she is so timid, she does get scared when outside and likes to run and hide so she would do best in a home with a fence or an owner committed to walking her on a leash at all times as she builds trust. Ruth is a sweet girl who will make a great companion with a family that sees her potential. She deserves a beautiful life!

She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250
