Hi, meet Red, a sweet, southern gentleman! Red is a 7-year-old hound and Labrador Retriever mix who came to Peaceable Kingdom from NC when his owner passed away. Red’s foster mom tells us that Red is the sweetest, most mild-mannered boy! He enjoys going for walks, or just looking out the window or taking a nap. Red would do best in a house with a fenced in yard (with a tall fence as we understand he can jump a 4-foot fence). Red is easy going and has very good manners (stays off the furniture, no counter surfing, etc.). He sleeps in his crate at night. Red can be cat tested and if there are other dogs in your home, a meet and greet will need to be arranged. Red was fine with children when introduced to them in his foster home.
