The next two of our frostbite litter are ready to find their fur-ever homes! Meet Crystal and Snowcone! Here’s their story: On April 28, we were contacted by somebody who said a mother cat had left her hour old kittens in her chicken coop. The mother hadn’t returned yet and the kittens were cold and unresponsive. They were rushed to us, where Kenzie and Emily got them into an incubator and we tried to warm them up and started feeding them formula, until our wonderful foster Heather and her family, took them home to bottle feed and watch over them. Thankfully, every kitten pulled through and survived. But, they did have frostbite and lost some extremities. Some have missing toes and toenails, others have missing ear tips and white fur where the tip is missing (snow-kissed as Kenzie likes to say), all have some varying lengths of their tail that fell off. But, other than some of those things that add character, they are healthy! Crystal (purple collar) and Snowcone (pink collar) are two spayed females that are the first of the litter ready for a fur-ever home. They’re both playful, friendly and affectionate!
