My story

Sugar smiles the widest when she's on a car ride with her favorite volunteer buddy, John. While their destination is the park--a place she loves--it's really about the journey for her: watching the world from the passenger seat next to someone she loves.

In a foster home, she enjoyed daily runs with her foster dad, and would get into the shower to rinse off when her feet were dirty Sugar was housetrained in the home and when left uncrated, she didn't get into anything. Her former foster mom described this beauty as the ultimate "people pleaser."

Sugar bonds deeply with her people and will do best in a home where there's low activity and one or two adults. She has had some dog friends in the past, but given her stress in the shelter, she is currently being marketed as needing to be the only dog in the home.
