Hello there! I’m Blanca and I can’t wait to find a forever home of my very own.

I am the sweetest, most gentle girl who is so deserving of a home to call my own. I was found as a terrified stray and then felt really overwhelmed while in a shelter in Kansas. That’s when my friends at PawsCo stepped in to offer me a foster home where I’m learning to feel safe again. It took me a couple of weeks to feel more confident but I am doing SO well now! I am friendly and affectionate and getting more and more brave to explore and find my “play” every day. I’m looking for a quiet home with a human who can just go slow with me and know that I take a few weeks to completely warm up in a new environment.

I’m litterbox trained and great in a kitty carrier. Though I’m pretty reserved, I’ve started to bat some toys around. Best of all, I can be a cuddle ball when I want to be. I’ll purr and knead when you pet me, stretch my arms and legs for a belly rub, and do this adorable thing where I rub my head all over you. I haven’t lived with other cats or dogs in a home yet so I can’t completely report on how I’d do. But I think I’d transition in fine with another animal friend as long as they are gentle and give me that time to warm up. I do think I’d do best in a home without younger kiddos just until I have had more time to build confidence overall (quiet is best for me right now!)
