Hi! My name is Chirp. My caretakers at RCHS would describe me as being in the ORANGE category. Dogs in the ORANGE category are commonly timid at first, but don’t let that fool you! A new home and an adopter that is committed to helping them build confidence is sure to bring them out of their shell. Once they are comfortable, dogs in the ORANGE category most likely will be energetic and will benefit from learning basic manners and how to manage their enthusiasm for life! Having another confident dog in the home may help them get acquainted with their new people and surroundings more quickly.
Dogs are assigned to color categories using any previous owner notes, general handling, as well as staff and volunteer observations. As we continue to get to know the dogs and gather further insights into their personalities, colors may be adjusted accordingly. More information can be found on our website.
If interested in adopting Chirp, an adoption survey and instructions can be found on our website.
