My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We would like to introduce this handsome gentleman named Hector. He was out and about on an adventure and was brought to the shelter on 6/22. Sadly, no one has come to look for him. Hector is 2 years old and weighs 53lbs. He is just the cutest and sweetest, quietest boy. He arrived at the shelter wearing a very nice collar and harness. So at some point someone took the time to care for this little angel. Hector walks well on a leash so he would make a great walking buddy. He waits very patiently for potty breaks so it seems that he is housetrained. Hector is super intelligent because he knows simple commands such sit when asked and he may know more. He would like very much to learn more as he eager to please. He also enjoys the companionship of others especially around other dogs-he just wants to play with and get to know them so much! Please stop by and have a meet and greet with this awesome baby. He is every bit the perfect gentleman and he hopes to win your heart for a lifetime of happiness and love. Hector is current on vaccines, will be neutered, micro chipped and heart worm tested upon adoption. He will be happily waiting for you in Run 408 and his ID is 637451.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
