Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing the most adorable fellow named Devlin. This cute little guy came to the shelter as a lost boy with ID but sadly, the owners didn't bother to show up to claim this sweet angel. Devlin is 2 years old and weighs 30lbs. Devlin is on a journey to find a home that will protect him, love him, and keep him safe. He has been nothing but a perfect pup during his stay. He is hoping that will be a short stay. He really doesn't deserve to be stuck in the shelter ever. He really needs a responsible family that will treat him better as family NOT just as a pet. Devlin is super intelligent as he knows simple commands such as sit when asked and may know more. He is willing to learn so much more to grow up and be the pup that we know he already is. He is treat motivated and he takes them ever so gently. He is eager to please. Just be patient, guide him EVERY step of the way, make him feel appreciated and loved everyday of his life. Devlin is certainly wishing for a second chance at a better life with great forever family. Would you come visit him and provide him that second chance? Devlin is current on vaccines, he is neutered and micro chipped. He will be heart worm tested upon adoption. Please come visit this sweet, sweet baby in Run 2 and his ID is 637560.
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
