Hello, I'm Ruby! I am a rescue from the Island of Aruba!

As a beach stray, I relied upon the kindness of strangers for food and a belly rub. Adult dogs rarely get adopted from Aruba and end up being put down. I am one of the lucky ones, many special friends helped me board a freedom flight to the US in May which saved my life!

I am 3 years old, a petite maybe greyhound and perhaps border collie... super fast and smart!

I love being around other dogs once proper introductions are made and good on a leash. I'm very sweet and gentle in taking my treats, which I love!

My foster parents are wonderful! They love me so much, yet are very committed to fostering. They can keep saving more dogs by continuing to foster once I find my very own permanent family!

I would love to tell you more about my amazing journey to the US, and to tell you more about me. Maybe we can meet each other and see if we could be a family together.
