My story

Bronte is about 5 years old and is part of a bonded pair with her sister Shelly. Bronte is not doing well in the shelter environment. She tries to hide herself in her cage closed off to affection. She is scared here at the shelter. Her sister Shelly tries to comfort her and get her to come interact with her caretakers. Bronte has the potential to be a great cat but shes not able to show that here at the shelter because of her fear. Bronte and Shelly would love nothing more than to be adopted and part of a family where they can be comfortable and show you what awesome cats they are.

All of our cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption. MGHS is currently open Tuesday - Saturday from 12pm to 5pm. We are closed on Sunday and Mondays. For more info on our cqts call (434)985-3203

Go meet their pets

Our open hours are: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from Noon until 5 PM. We also will open at other times by appointment. Just call us and we'll try to arrange a more convenient time for you to stop by. To find us, go to the Greene County Landfill, just before the entrance, turn left toward the park, and we're the first building on the left. You can also find us with some of our cats, every other Saturday at the Ruckersville Tractor Supply!
