My story

Nana is a young 8 year old beauty! She is the most perfect dog ever, amazing with kids, adults, cats and dogs. Nana is so very chill and still has a lot of life in her! Catching a ball is her all time favorite, she'll be the precious protector of her family, but would be a horrible guard dog because she just doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Nana loves her people fiercely and will love whoever comes into the new families home as her new best friend. Nana needs a family that will pamper the heck out of her and be 100% all about her. She did have heartworm when ALL took her in, but she was treated and healthy now. She would love a quiet family that takes little walks or hikes with her, and would absolutely LOVE someone to throw a ball for her to catch and chase. She even smiles!

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community. ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system. ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare. We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
