My story

Online Adoption Application

Livvi is a black, grey, & white tabby lady who is shy but oh so worth it once she opens up to you! She LIVES for a soft blanket to cuddle on or in! She is pretty low key but likes to play occasionally with toys. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy - she is it!!!

We believe Livvi would be best in a calm or medium energy home. She is not the biggest fan of other cats so a home with cats who ignore her would be best. She has not been tested around kids or dogs.

Livvi had a rough start, she came to us from a cruelty case. She was left in a travel carrier for 9 days in the elements with no food, water, or room to move. Her two "sisters", Minnie & Marcella were also next to her in their own crates. Livvi was less than 3 lbs when she came to us, as a 6 year old cat.

Think this is the cat for you? Apply now to foster or adopt to help her on the next step of her journey.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our 9LCR cats are not routinely tested for FIV and FeLV for various reasons, one being to keep the costs and hence the adoption fee affordable. This decision is based on studies that have found that only about 4% of cats are actually infected. The funds for testing are better utilized for our spay and neuter efforts of owned and community cats in order to save the most cats. However, testing can be performed upon request and need to be covered by the person interested in adopting.
9 Lives Cats have been spayed or neutered and have updated vaccinations. 9 Lives is run entirely on volunteers. Please give us 2-7 days to process your application. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us! Please fill out our application form found here: t.ly/38VV
Adoption fee is $70.00.

More about this rescue

We started 9 Lives Cat Rescue to find homes for cats that are homeless or need to be relocated.
We are a no-kill, non-profit group. Our cats live in foster homes until they are adopted. We spay & neuter every cat before they are adopted.
We fully support our local no-kill feral cat group who practices TNR (Trap, Neuter & Return).
