My story

Radar is a one year old Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Mix. He is friendly and playful. Radar has lots of energy but enjoys hanging out on the couch and being calm. Radar is a super happy boy and would love bonding with his new guardian in some puppy classes. Because he is so active, we are saying a home with children 10 years old and over. He is very rambunctious and could knock a little one over.

We do require Radar's new home to have a physical fenced yard. This fun guy has so much potential.

Radar's adoption fee is $350 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, Hearworm tested Negative, dewormed, current on hearworm prevention and flea/tick prevention.

Meetings are scheduled after a completed adoption application is submitted online at furgetmenotrescue.org

Why adoption is a great option

Radar, a Canton Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Canton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Canton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canton paves the way for another one to be saved.
