Lady is a 7 y/o female whose owners surrendered her to a local vet clinic. She is a beagle mix, 16 inches tall and weighs around 35 pounds.

Lady lost her home because she wasn’t getting along with the new puppy. Adult dogs do correct puppies and teach them proper pack manners, so that may be all that was going on and the family was overly protective. Lady is currently living with a dozen other beagles that range in age from 3 months to 15 years of age. She gets along with everyone and was seen recently digging a hole with the help of the littlest guy in the pack! She is not very playful and would do well without a canine companion.

Lady loves human attention. She would be a great cuddler, but we have not been able to convince her to climb up on the couch next to us. 7 years of being told “no furniture” is hard to over-come! Lady will make a wonderful companion for some lucky person! Please give her a chance
