My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Doozy just turned 1 yrs old in June and is a total sweetheart. He is friendly with other dogs, patient with kids and just wants to be around his humans. His days consist primarily of laying around the house indoors but loves outdoor time when he can get it. He doesn't shed and barks minimally...really only if he sees another dog walking by the window but stops quickly if you tell him to. He is house trained but we primarily take him for short walks every 4-5 hours to go potty so it could require some retraining to get him to just go in your backyard. He sleeps all night from about 10-630 without accidents. He is very social and excited to meet new people but will calm down within a few minutes. He loves to chew on bones/toys. This decision to rehome such a sweet dog has not been made lightly. We just aren't dog people and tried to make it work for our kids but have realized he deserves a truly loving owner that gives him the affection and attention he deserves.
