My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A neighbor called to tell me about a cat in her yard in need of some help. She thought he was dying and is afraid of cats. Expecting the worst, I found an injured, big tom, confused and immobilized by the snow. He walked right into a carrier for some tuna and is now set up in my hallway! I named him Spice after a big brown tiger I knew once. Spice has been to the vet twice now. The first time he was neutered, tested (he's fiv+) and had his back right foot treated and bandaged. A week later, 2/22/10, he had to have the leg amputated because the foot just wasn't healing and the infection had spread. The good news is Spice is eating well, responding to some careful TLC and is not feral after all. He needs a special person to provide him with a safe quiet home where he can adjust to his new life.
