My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dot is a very affectionate girl but is very nervous when meeting for the first time, she tends to be vocal but has not been aggressive. She is better with women than men. She is higher energy and would make a great running buddy. She also loves to play ball or with other dogs but may need a patient friend since she still has a lot of puppy in her and can play a little rough. She has not been around small dogs or cats. We believe Dot is either a kelpie or Belgian malinois mix. She is extremely smart and willing to learn.

Email us with any questions you may have RockABullyAF@hotmail.com or visit RockABullyAF.org to apply.

Dot is heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, spayed and ready to find her perfect forever family!

She is not currently available for out of state adoption.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our rescue has a thorough adoption process to ensure that our dogs are placed in their perfect forever home. All adopters are required to complete an adoption application which is followed by a home check and one on one interview. We require and adoption fee of $180 for adults and $240 for puppies under 8 months of age. All dogs are spayed and neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on shots. Remember, adopting a Bully is a lifetime commitment. Not every family needs a Bully, but every Bully needs a family.

Too often, we have to turn away dogs in need because we simply have no where to put them. If you do not see a dog listed that fits what you are looking for, please fill out an application and tell us what you're looking for in an adoptable bully. We will add you to our database and keep an ear out for a dog that matches what you're looking for!

Go meet their pets

All dog meetings are to be scheduled in advance so that a day & time can be worked out with the fosters and potential adopters. We have multiple adoption events every month so be sure to watch our Facebook page for the one nearest you.

More about this rescue

ROCK-A-BULLY RESCUE is not breed specific but does rescue primarily bully breeds. We are a no kill dog rescue that adopts out bully breeds, which is a category of breeds that includes the American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Staffodshire Bull Terrier, American and English Bulldogs, and English Bull Terriers, to name a few. While most of our dogs are pit bulls, we welcome many other powerful breeds such as rottweilers, doberman pinschers, and mastiff breeds. It is our mission to save these breeds by transforming the publics opinion through education and the success of our adoptions.
