We do not adopt out-of-state. We do not adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years old. We do require a home check (no exceptions), We try to match each animal with the best fit for the animal.  Our adoption fees are not negotiable.  we do not have a facility we are foster-based and we are not a first come first serve rescue

If you are interested in potentially adopting please review our adoption process (do not skip to the application without reading or we will reject your application) and application on our website at www.gunterslegacy.org/adopt

Jilly is a beautiful girl.  She loves to play and run and when she gets to know you she is a sweet and happy girl. She came to us from a hoarding situation when she was only 4 weeks old, but we were told she was 4 months old.  She was very scared and didn't like being touched and ran from her foster. She's doing better but still will require training.  She uses pee pads and will go outside to do her business.  She loves toys, especially ones she can pull the squeaky out of.   She gets along well with other dogs but will chase cats. She needs work on the leash, she does well in the car as long as she is in a crate. She will bark but quiets once you acknowledge her concerns. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

We do not have any back information on them.
