My story

Meet Blueberry! Blueberry is a perfectly pint-sized terrier mix who bonds hard with her people. She can be a little shy when she first meets you, but with the help of some yummy treats, she trusts quickly and then you’ve got a friend for life! Blueberry would love to go to a home with a retiree or someone who works from home and can let her out for potty breaks throughout the day- she does her best to hold it but nobody’s perfect! Blueberry does well with other dogs of all sizes as long as they are respectful of her space. Because of her smaller size, homes with older children (12+) would suit her best. Don’t miss out on the chance to make this sweet girl your new best friend!

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.

Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.

Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Why adoption is a great option

Blueberry, a CUMMING Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in CUMMING, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in CUMMING.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in CUMMING already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a CUMMING breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in CUMMING paves the way for another one to be saved.
