Scooter has proven that we don't know much about cats after all. In his original foster home, he was a timid guy. This gorgeous brown and black tabby with tiger stripes and beautiful gold eyes would look terrified and run away at the sight of a human. So naturally, we thought we should tell people not to adopt him if they wanted a lap cat. But weeks later, he moved into a new foster home with one other kitty, and he has become an attention seeking lap cat that purrs! What the heck?? Scooter apparently has to have just the right environment, or he's going to act like a brat. Do you have a home with just one or two other kitties that would want to be his friend.. or maybe you would you like to adopt a pair? Because Scooter would be a great fit! He loves to rub his face along your hand and rub your fingers against his nose... then he brushes his teeth for your fingers. He doesn't bite, just puts your fingers in his mouth. Weirdo. But it's the quirky ones that we love. All of our rescues are felv/fiv tested, litter-trained, up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! Our adoption fee is $95 no matter age or breed.
