Hi! My name is Evie! Look into my eyes….closer….closer….aren’t they pretty?!
My bright blue eyes perfectly compliment my lovely cream/tortie coat. I had a bit of trouble with a skin condition when I was rescued, but the folks at Habitat4Paws got me treatment to return my coat to full glory. My hair is really thick, so brushing me once in awhile will help me avoid hairballs. Yuck.
I’m a lively little lady of just over a year old who loves to play with all the toys. Boxes, bags, wrapping paper, balls, ice cubes, shoelaces, random clothing on the floor…anything is a toy! Speaking of ice cubes, I come running when I hear one of my people getting ice from the fridge. My dream would be to have a huge tiled floor with a ton of ice cubes that I could bat around and lick. Oh, and I LOVE that feather-toy-on-a-stick! I can spend hours jumping up to catch that feather and then dragging it around the house letting everybody know that I caught it.
When I’m not running around like a maniac, I love to perch in the window to watch the birds, squirrels, dogs, people and cars go by.
I get along great with my foster kitty brother, so ideally I’d like to have a playmate in my future. I’m not even scared of the family dog, so I think a nice dog could be a playmate, too.
My foster mom keeps my nails trimmed and provides plenty of scratching posts, so no worries there. Of course, I have excellent litter box habits.
I can be persuaded to sleep with you all night, but right now I like to sleep in the top of my cat tree. When I find a human taking a nap, I like to spread across their chest and serenade them with my purring.
