My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT - Patches is being boarded by a very kind vet hospital in Denver, but she must get out of there right away, if found out she would be confiscated and killed due to her being a pit bull. If you can foster or adopt Patches please contact us right away. Fostering is extremely rewarding, you will get to spend some time with a wonderful, sweet little angel like Patches and save a life at the same time. And who knows maybe you'll fall in love too!

Please read Patches story:

Hi, my name is, well, I don't really have a name, but they call me "Patches". I am a petite girl weighing about 50 pounds, and they think I'm about 1 year old. I am white with cute little "patches" of tan on me, hence the name.Oh, and I have lovely natural ears, they say they make me very cute! I was found as a stray in Denver and have been boarding at a vet hospital for about a week. My favorite thing in the world is to be with people, I LOVE people! I am young, and don't have many manners, so I tend to jump on people when I'm excited and wiggle my tail really, really fast. Actually, I wiggle my whole body. And I love to give kisses too, But what can I say, I'm a happy, young girl! I like going outside, especially when people come with me, and I follow them everywhere. I met a German shepherd mix, but ignored him, and just played with the people, you could say I'm a bit of a velcro dog. I like to bark at little dogs in the cages, and was very curious of the cat, so I may be best in a home without them, but I may just want to play...they haven't quite figured that out yet.I am a bit scared of new situations, the people here went to weigh me and I crouched down very low...but the people here are nice. I have a blanket to sleep on, and toys (which I sometimes rip apart) and they give me greenies...I love them.Oh, I also don't act food aggressive at all...I'm not a big food person actually, but I love treats! I am house trained, and seldom bark, only when I see you and want to come out and play. I am spayed and up to date on all my shots. Although I'm doing fine at the vet clinic I'm at, they are located in Denver, and Denver has some silly rule that says dogs like me can't be there or we'll get in big trouble...I don't want any trouble. I really just want a nice place of my own to live with my very own family...could that be you?

If you would like to adopt, foster, or consider a foster to adopt please don't wait, Patches is quickly running out of time. Please contact Sandra right away at: 720-988-7749 or email to: mail@sandratanzberger.com
