My story

Introducing Ms. LUNA.🌙

A pure white princess of just 3 years old. Luna came to us from one of our favorite cat rescue partners, The Cat People. They were a safe haven to her after she was found left behind in a vacant home.😢

Now she rules her cat tower at the SCSPCA like the princess she is! Luna is sweet and loving -- with a side of sass. She craves affection when the mood is right, but also has a limit and will kindly tell you so.

If Luna was to select her perfect home, she would be the only four-legged in it. Wearing the beloved only pet crown with pride. That said, she HAS tolerated life with other animals and could most likely adjust again, with the proper match and intro.

If you're interested in meeting Luna, come on in during cat browsing hours or fill out an Adopter's Profile!🐱

Additional adoption info

In response to COVID-19, and the current social distancing rules, all of our animals are now being housed in foster homes and our adoption procedures have changed. Please read the following ADOPTION STEPS on our website for further details! **Please Note: Most of our adoptions are beginning with a foster-to-adopt period, and because of this, we are temporarily unable to consider applications from households outside the counties of: Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Monterey. If you rent, please have a copy of your lease or a letter from your landlord that states you can have a pet(s) ready. If you’re adopting a dog, introduce your future friend to any other dogs in the family (dog adoptions only).
