My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe is very playful and loves to explore. She also loves to cuddle and be held as long as you aren’t taking her away from a fun activity. She loves to play chase with strings or small toys and LOVES to try and catch any bugs that have made their way inside. She is not very interested in toys once you put them in the air- she only likes them when they are dragged on the ground or thrown. She loves to cuddle and adores head massages- she’ll often even open up her mouth and let her tongue hang out if you do a really good job! She is not fond of belly rubs, however. She does love catnip and treats and is used to eating Hills Science Diet for adult cats 1-6. She likes to be a part of most activities but also likes to find quiet places to be alone and take a nice cat nap. She doesn’t mind most dogs, but seems to be afraid of little yappy dogs and hides when they’re around. Overall, she is a very sweet and playful cat that loves people. She would be fine with older children who are experienced with cats, but was once traumatized by some younger children so she will hide.

Phoebe is currently around dogs that live upstairs on a daily basis (a medium sized mutt and a small shitzu poodle) and has no problem with them. But the people who her foster mom lives with have a son who has a tiny little Yorkie that is very yippy and barks a lot and whenever they come to stay and bring their dog, Phoebe will usually hide in my closet even though that dog never comes downstairs. Phoebe would do best as the only cat, however. She prefers to get all of the attention.

Phoebe is being fostered in Colorado Springs. She is approximately two years old, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $125. If you are interested in adopting, please submit the application at the following link:
