Gordo is a friendly, gentle giant who enjoys spending time with all humans, both big and small. He is a polite gentleman who enjoys the finer things in life, like a comfy bed and a delicious meal. During the day, he loves finding cozy spots to relax to take long naps (usually around you). He is motivated by treats and enjoys playing with toys that are stuffed with delicious snacks. He melts in your lap when you pet him and expresses his love by showering you with affectionate licks. Since coming to his foster home, he’s been learning some new tricks and currently knows “sit.” In addition, he’s both potty and crate trained.
As a senior dog he is usually low energy and spends most of the day lazing around indoors. He enjoys leisurely walks where he can take his time to take in the sights and smells. He is unfazed by loud noises and does not bark. Gordo will thrive in a home where he can shine as an only pet, and he’s happiest when he’s with his caretakers. Although he can be unsure of himself when meeting new people, this sweet guy opens right up with a gentle touch and some one-on-one time.
