My story

Nature's small but mighty berry best describes this sweet former mama.  Acai is tiny in stature but big in heart  She'll "boost" your immune system with her love and affection and entertain you with her playful and inquisitive mind.  She's always an agreeable, gentle, and easy going soul, a true beauty.

Acai and her mom Elderberry had litters less than a week apart.  They were both very happy to co-parent the baby berries and care for each other.  Acai still keeps a close eye on her mom Elderberry but she's also happy to be on her own and socialize with the other resident cats. She doesn't have a lot of experience with friendly dogs or with young children,  however, with such a big heart and easy going nature, she should fit in anywhere easily.  She craves a warm lap and loves to snuggle and study you with her big beautiful eyes.

All of their babies have found loving homes.  It's time for sweet Acai to shower her very own human with unconditional love.

You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
