My story

Meet Alan! He is a happy 4 year old terrier mix and weights around 28 pounds.

He plays great with other dogs but also wants to make sure he's near you. His front right leg has an old fracture so he does have limp, but he doesn't let that stop him. Alan is one resilient boy! He uses the dog door like a champ and hasn't had any accidents in the house. He can be talkative when he's excited. He hasn't been around cats or kids but has adapted without an issue to his fosters tortoise. He is a smart, loyal boy who loves to make his person happy.

If interested in him, please message us for an application ❤️

Why adoption is a great option

Alan, a Phoenix Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
