Our love for each other blossomed in the shelter environment and we couldn’t be happier that we found each other. We can never be found too far apart, and we provide each other with a lot of comfort and support.
I (Zipper) was rescued from under the Reserve Street bridge, and I am so excited to experience living in a home for the first time. I love head/chin scratches, and I have blossomed into one loveable and affectionate guy!
I (Morticia) am more bashful than my best friend and developing a relationship with me takes time. Once you gain my trust, I love full body scratches and attention!
We would do best in a calm, quiet home environment with people who will give us the time we need to adjust. We love other kitties and would love to go to a home with other cats. We can’t wait to find our perfect match and we hope they come along soon!
More of Zipper's Story: Zipper is a part of the group of kitties that we rescued from under the Reserve Street bridge at the beginning of 2022. When he first arrived in our care, he was extremely sick with Calicivirus and spent many months in insolation while we nursed him back to health. Calicivirus is a viral pathogen that causes upper respiratory tract infections in cats. He made a full recovery from Calicivirus.
Due to spending many years exposed to the elements and without proper veterinary care, Zipper now has chronic eye and skin issues. He has made amazing progress with the help of a special diet (single protein) and daily medication. Zipper is a part of the Gaia’s Landing program. We will cover the cost of his medical needs and medication for the remainder of his life. we also offer 24/7 medical support.
