My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ophelia! This girl is a Domestic Shorthair tuxedo mix with an adorable little white streak on her nose and the most curious, adorable eyes you've ever seen. She is always looking to explore new places and loves to watch birds and people passing by the window. She enjoys cuddling and rubbing her head up against you in her free time as well as playing with feather toys! Harper gets along wonderfully with other cats and loves to play with her siblings. She also has dogs in her foster home, so she is comfortable if introduced properly to them. Harper's siblings are also looking for homes if you're interested in adopting 2 - Hemingway, Fitz, and Harper. You can also apply for multiple kitties at once.

All of our kittens are fully up to date on vaccinations (2 FVRCP kitten vaccines), dewormed, on flea meds, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when they are older and bigger (covered by the fee, better for them to get bigger before putting under anesthesia). To see what else our adoption comes with, visit www.vida4animals.org/adoption-process-fees/

If an animal is posted from us, they are AVAILABLE, however we sometimes do already have one adopter approved to meet them - however, please apply directly ASAP to ensure you get considered, possibly as a backup! We approve based on the best home, not first-come-first-serve.
*Keep in mind, we receive 50+ applications for popular breeds, so if you aren't approved, it doesn't mean your home is unsuitable for a kitten. If the animal you applied for gets adopted, you may change your application's "Pet Name" section by clicking "Edit Form" in your confirmation email you received after sending in your first application. You will then be considered for these animals.

ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.vida4animals.org/adoption-application/
*We recommend you view ALL of our available animals and put as many other cats you're interested in as possible - this will put you in immediate consideration for these other cats too! You do NOT need to fill out >1 application for this. You may also edit your application after submission.

Once that is complete and we've approved you, we can set up a time for you to meet your potential companion for life! We are strictly by appointment-only.

We apologize if you cannot reach us via phone, it is a personal phone # - we recommend emailing at cats@vida4animals.org for the quickest response. We apologize if we do not get to you quickly - we only have a few staff and volunteers, and we must focus on finding our animals good homes, but if you would like to help us improve and volunteer, let us know!
