My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Patrick! He's our 4-year-old male DSH/Tabby mix who cannot wait to meet you in-person. Not only is he a good boy who adores being brushed, but Patrick is just a big ol' cuddlebug who just wants all the love in the world. He will simply relax by your feet when you are working and will roll over for belly rubs every moment he has the chance. After his afternoon naps, he is excited to play with you as long as it is not toys or loud noises since he is a little bit of a scaredy cat. Not only is he great with other cats, but he is quite gentle with children and people as well. While he may look handsome in his photos, he is much cuter once you meet him. He meows when he is excited, especially when it comes to feeding time. Patrick tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). He can still live a long, happy life without any harmful symptoms but he will need to live in a clean, indoor-only home. FeLV is not contagious to other species but he does need to be the only cat in the house since other cats can contract FeLV. The sweet boy deserves a loving home. Be that special person for Patrick and come meet him today!

If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes. Currently, we are driving animals far out on an as-needed basis!

All of our cats are fully up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, on flea meds, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. To see what else our adoption comes with, visit www.vida4animals.org/adoption-process-fees/

If an animal is posted from us, they are AVAILABLE, however we sometimes do already have an adopter in place to meet them - however, please apply directly ASAP to ensure you get considered to meet them! We approve based on the best home, not first-come-first-serve.

ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.vida4animals.org/adoption-application/
*We recommend you view ALL of our available animals and put as many other cats you're interested in as possible - this will put you in immediate consideration for these other cats too! You do NOT need to fill out >1 application for this. You may also edit your application after submission.

Once that is complete and we've approved you, we can set up a time for you to meet your potential companion for life! We are strictly by appointment-only. We apologize if you cannot reach us via phone, it is a personal phone # - we recommend emailing at cats@vida4animals.org for the quickest response. We apologize if we do not get to you quickly - we only have a few staff and volunteers, and we must focus on finding our animals good homes, but if you would like to help us improve and volunteer, let us know!
