My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guten Tag! My name is Gunter and even though that means "warrior", in my world it means "funny gunny bunny"! My foster mom says I'm great with other dogs, especially younger dogs because older dogs are just not into playing as much as I am! I love my cat foster brother too! I absolutely love going to doggy daycare on the weekends to hang out with all my friends. I never meet a stranger! I'm good with kiddos as well, but I like to wrestle and use my paws, so could scratch or accidentally hurt a little one. I'm proud to say I kennel well, can sit on command, sleep through the night, ride well in a car, am food motivated for easy training, and am potty trained. I'm a typical velcro doggy who REALLY loves my people! If you've got the squeaky toys and are ready to play fetch, we will get along just great! Email your phone number to for more info. I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that's signed once an adopter has been approved for an adoption. There's no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption fees vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a variety of foster homes. We have full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 90% of the time calls and emails are returned with 48-72 hours.

More about this rescue

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or surrendered. We pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them to be united with loving forever home, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.
