My story

Chloe is a five year old Boxer/mix available for adoption. She is spayed, micro chipped, heart worm negative, appropriately vaccinated, treated for parasites and on prevention. The sweet dog was rescued from a life of abuse and neglect. Chained and isolated from other animals with almost no contact with humans, the emotionally crippled dog was severely emaciated. The poor dog also suffered with a horrible skin infection and a multitude of internal and external parasites. Chloe has been treated for her physical ailments and is learning how to love and be loved. She is house trained and eager to please those who show her kindness. She is a devoted companion, she would prefer to be the only pet. Please consider giving this deserving dog an opportunity to have a loving family. Applications to adopt Chloe can be found at harthumane.org.

Why adoption is a great option

4751 Chloe, a Hartwell Boxer/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Hartwell, or seeking a Boxer/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Hartwell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartwell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartwell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Boxer/Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartwell paves the way for another one to be saved.
