Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zoey is a 9-year-old girl who come to us when her family was unable to care for her any longer. She is heartworm positive and being treated via the “slow-kill” method so she will come with 1 year supply of Advantage Multi. Like a lot of us, she is a little on the chubby side, but we are working on diet and exercise to get her back to her ideal weight. The good news is that she loves going for walks so getting enough exercise is not a problem. She also loves going for car rides and going to the dog park. While she gets along well with her foster beagle siblings, she would probably prefer being an only dog in her forever home. She is not shy but does remain a little aloof until she gets to know the humans. She will need a home that is willing to give her time to settle in and get comfortable with her new surroundings. She knows how to use a doggie door and has very good house manners. She is a delightful, sweet girl who needs a family to give her all the love and attention she so deserves.
