My story

This sweet boy is Jude. He is currently 16 weeks old and would love to have a family who are looking for a handsome fellow with a great personality!! Jude is a bit more laid back than his sister. He tends to watch all that is going on around him before forging forward but is not afraid, just a bit more cautious. He seeks out interaction with his people and will curl up with you for a short nap. He is great with the other dogs in his foster home. He is most always the first one to grab a toy to play with but he doesn’t mind sharing. Jude does like to play in the water and we think he would love a kiddie pool to splash around in. If you think you are ready to adopt this perfect guy, you can find his application at Jude’s adoption fee is $450. Adopters should live within 75 miles of Joliet, IL so that there will be no issues with taking him in for his neuter appointment.

This puppy will be up to date on age appropriate and required vaccinations, microchipped, and will come with a spay/neuter certificate to be used at one of our participating vets. The certificate will indicate that spay/neuter must be completed within 60 days of the adoption and will not be reissued. Please note that we are unable to hold dogs for any reason including moves and vacations. Once approved for adoption we require the adopter to complete the adoption and take ownership of their new companion.

**We do our best to accurately represent the breeds of each pet. However, the breeds listed have not been verified via a DNA test. They are chosen based on the appearance and characteristics of the pet at the time of listing.

Why adoption is a great option

Jude, a Joliet Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
