Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HI! My Name Is Bowie
Our good friend Bowie recently went on a #FosterFling for the past week, taking a break from #ShelterLife in a foster home. Here’s what his foster family wanted to say about Bowie while crashing at their place:
“Bowie was great and really opened up during his time here, anytime someone came home or when we woke up he was always happy and had a grin on his face. He walks well on leash, and was great around the house during the day and at night. He enjoyed playtime with our other dog and liked to rest his head on our lap for cuddles.”
If you are interested in adopting a new friend into your home or helping a homeless pet by allowing it to crash at your place as a foster please visit the shelter Wednesday through Sunday from 11AM – 3PM. No appointments are required and you can walk right in just as you could pre-pandemic. You can also contact us at 562-570-3080 or AnimalRescue@longbeach.gov
