Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sho was found as a stray on a very busy highway, a volunteer chased him for 1hr as he didn't let her get near him. He was very scared. Until finally he got tired and the volunteer was able to put him in a crate and out of danger.
He was very malnourished, hungry and in bones. His teeth were in very bad condition, most like he was fed table scraps.
He was transferred to live with a loving foster who has taken care of him. He got dental work and extractions done as the poor thing had a few infected teeth and lots of build up. Now he only has a few teeth left that is the reason why his little tongue sticks out, which makes him look so cute! That does not stop him from eating kibble mixed with some chicken and veggies. Sho is now 5 pounds, in great condition and good health. He is a happy dog!
He lives indoors but has access to a balcony where he likes to sunbath, at night he sleeps in a crate. The foster says she still needs to keep an eagle's eye on him while in the house to look for clues that indicate he needs to go out potty. We recommend that his future family follows a potty break routine to avoid having accidents in the house.
He is afraid of male humans, which makes us suspect he was abused by men. He is fine with female humans. Please if you decide to adopt this boy be patient with him for a few days while he acclimates to a new environment, specially if there are male humans in the household.
Sho gets along with cats and dogs. A quiet and calm environment would be best for him.
