My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Ivy

*Age: approx 7.5 years

*Current Weight: 37

*Adoption fee: $300

Meet Ivy!  She is a southern girl pulled from the shelter with a horrible mass hanging from her chest.  When we saw the mass and learned about her sweet personality we had to help.  Now we’ve removed it and she just waits for her perfect home. Someone previously loved this girl as she has perfect manners, is completely housebroken and will do anything for a treat.  Ivy is a healthy eater and will sit very pretty for her treats. She certainly is VERY excited for walks and loves other dogs. She loves to curl up on a dog bed, a human bed, or your lap, and keep you company while you binge watch your favorite streaming shows. She loves getting her ears rubbed, and when you stop she nicely gives you kisses to keep going.  She is the perfect mix of active and chill, and just wants to be close to her human. Ivy is a great co-pilot in the car and is excited for car rides!

More about this rescue

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
