Shadow and Storm are a very special pair who lost their home and were not adapting well in a rescue setting. They didn’t understand why they didn’t have a home — they don’t chew or dig or have other bad habits. Now in a foster home, they are relaxed and showing off their personalities. Shadow is a regal petite black rex and seems to know his luxurious fur is very pettable and comes running up for attention. He doesn’t mind being picked up or carried. He is very curious and confident and enjoys exploring; he never looks for a place to hide while out or been startled by anything he has encountered, including other animals. Storm is a beautiful lop who is a bit more reserved and tends to keep more to herself, but will be held and petted for the longest time. Combined, they’re the best of both worlds! They are able to have their pen open throughout the day and exhibited no issues with chewing or digging or leaving a mess – while they enjoy the security of their pen they are very trustworthy free roam. They’d be happiest in a quieter home. They get a lot of comfort from each other so do not require a lot of attention, but they would make wonderful entertaining additions to a home and are willing to interact and show off their acrobatics whenever possible. They’re thankful for the rescue taking them in and getting them healthy, but they don’t want to go back to the rescue.
